For the past 33 years, the logo of the EBA has been the Grebe, which has often caused people to ask whether we are Ornithologists. English Birdwatchers’ Association? We used to explain that the letters GREBE stood for “Generating the Revival of Electric Boats Everywhere”.
These are exciting times and they call for a more direct approach. One that is clearer and easy to understand. We are also adopting a lively green as our main colour instead of the more pale blue. It’s time to free the Grebe and wish him bon voyage.
